The event is a proven path to the construction sector in Mexico
For the sixth time, the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) organized an official pavilion at the International Building and Housing Exhibition Expo CIHAC 2007, which is taking place from the 16th and will continue until the 20th of October in Mexico City
In this edition, Spanish participation amounted to 51 companies from Barcelona (17), Guipúzcoa (5), Valencia (5), Castellón (4), Zaragoza (3), Cantabria (2), A Coruña (1), Alicante (1), Córdoba (1), Granada (1), Jaén (1), León (1), Lleida (1), Madrid (1), Murcia (1), Navarra (1), Ourense (1), Pontevedra (1), Sevilla (1), Toledo (1) and Vizcaya (1).
Among others, the following sectors have been represented: basic materials; machinery, equipment and tools for construction; coatings; paints and pastes; air conditioning; equipment and elevators; lamps, luminaires and accessories; home automation; engineering equipment and financial and real estate services.
This annual trade fair is an excellent way to penetrate the Mexican construction market, as it is a well-established event with a presence and impact throughout Mexico. Furthermore, it features numerous international exhibitors. Its importance is reflected in the figures from the last edition, which boasted 629 exhibitors and nearly 50.000 visitors.
