AERTEC will exhibit its innovation at the international Aircraft Interiors Expo fair in Hamburg

It will present developments in the design and interior equipment of aircraft

For the past 5 years, AERTEC has had an office in Hamburg, from which manufacturing engineering and electrical systems or advanced air mobility projects are managed and important R&D&I activity is carried out.

Aircraft Interior Expo It is the main international fair dedicated to showing the latest developments, advances and trends in the design and equipment of aircraft interiors. It's about to start in Hamburg and will bring together 400 exhibitors from all over the world, including AERTEC.

The international company specialized in aerospace technology will present from its stand 6C80/A its complete portfolio of services and developments focused on improving aircraft connectivity. Its continuous innovation within the framework of the concept MEA (More Electric Aircraft), has led it to position itself as one of the main engineering companies specialized in the design and development of intelligent and dynamic power distribution solutions for aircraft, and that contribute to the challenge of Zero Emissions in 2050. As the development of an electrical power controller with solid state technology and components capable of reaching 540 VDC, which distributes high voltage power in the aircraft, with the aim of continuing to increase that current voltage continues towards higher levels.

Its ability to operate at 540 VDC allows for greater energy efficiency and a significant reduction in energy losses compared to traditional power distribution systems. This translates into greater flight range, which is crucial for both commercial airlines and military aircraft. It also guarantees safer and more reliable power distribution. By using a higher DC voltage, the risk of power failure is minimized and system stability is improved. Additionally, its modular design and real-time monitoring capabilities enable rapid problem identification and resolution, helping to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.

AERTEC is one of the few Spanish companies specialized in the development of innovative embedded systems

A specialization that extends to the areas of avionics, certifiable on-board software, and guidance, navigation and control systems. AERTEC applies advanced HW/SW avionics concepts for the development of on-board computers, data concentrators and operational SW based on IMA (Integrated Modular Avionics) for critical aircraft systems: It also designs and develops new wireless connectivity systems for the management and distribution of data generated by new generation IoT modules distributed by the aircraft or other cabin sensors.

AERTEC's technological developments are aimed at the integration and greater use of technology in the cockpit, responding to the concept of disruptive cockpit. In this sense, heInternational engineering is advancing digitalization as a means to facilitate and make safer the tasks of all professionals involved in the flight of an aircraft, through their participation in the European project AS-DISCO (Audio Suite for Disruptive COckpit Demonstrator). whose main objective is to digitize the management of audio communications between the crew and ground personnel, until now managed manually by the pilots. AERTEC has responded to this technological challenge by designing integrated modular avionics (IMA) software following the standard ARINC653, which includes all the functionalities necessary for the automation of cockpit procedures by integrating innovative solutions for human-machine interfaces (HMI) and software defined radio (SDR).
