Agents involved in its proper management and advice for the Spanish company Clear Customs

The customs agent and commissioner

The customs agent and broker is the only one who holds a professional qualification issued by the Ministry of Finance, so their functions are regulated and controlled by the Administration itself, unlike other customs operators.

It handles all the necessary procedures for the clearance of goods, acting as an intermediary between the Customs Administration and the importer/exporter. But its work goes beyond the delivery of goods. It provides foreign trade advice, informing clients about the applicable trade regime, tariff classification, tariff rates, and duty suspension regimes. It is present before, during, and after the goods arrive at their destination, collaborating with its client during inspections and ensuring compliance with their tax obligations.

Moneda Única has interviewed Miguel Tell Ramón and Carlos Eugenio Gómez Rodrigo, presidents of the Colleges of Customs Agents and Commission Agents of Valencia and Madrid, respectively.
