Alejandro Arola promotes knowledge of the figure of the OAS in Colombia

Alejandro Arola, president of the International Federation of Authorized Economic Operators (IFAEO) and the Arola Group, recently starred in Colombia two conferences focused on the importance that the figure of the OEA has for the international trade facilitation.

 

Alejandro Arola was invited by the National Association of Foreign Trade (ANALDEX) of Colombia to separate forums organized in Bogota and Medellin in which the president of the IFAEO made it clear that “the OEA It is the most important cultural change that people have experienced. Under the slogan “Colombia Imports”, both events were attended by businessmen, representatives of different unions, as well as public administration professionals and they debated topics of maximum interest for international trade, such as fraud and smuggling, cybersecurity and technologies such as blockchain.

 

Master class

 

After passing through the forums of ANALDEX, on April 11 the president of the Arola Group gave a master class on current European customs in the postgraduate course of Customs Law from the Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá), led by doctor German Pardo, Specialist Customs Law and director of the specialization in Customs and Foreign Trade Law of said university.

 

One of the points of the intervention of Alejandro Arola that aroused greater interest in the students was the Brexit and the impact that the output of United Kingdom from the European Union (EU) may have for him foreign trade and customs. In this sense, Arola explained the different scenarios that could arise from a technical point of view, both in the exit process of United Kingdom as in the future relationship of this country with the UE.
