As a result of its great international growth in the engineering and formwork sector
By attending these fairs, as it does in many others, the Alsina group continues working to strengthen and publicize its engineering and formwork solutions at an international level, supported by the good results and effectiveness of the works in which it participates.
As a result of its great international growth in the engineering and formwork sector in recent years in Latin America, Alsina attended several events last October Fairs of the sector carried out in countries of Latin America where it has a presence and has successfully collaborated on multiple projects.
In Uruguay, the subsidiary Alsina Uruguay attended the 2015 Construction Fair in Montevideo, which was held from October 16 to 21 at the Rural del Prado Exhibition Center.
At the fair, visitors were able to participate in the conference and training cycles to learn first-hand about all the capabilities that the Alsina Group offers in the country. Thus, the Encofrados Alsina del Uruguay, SA team presented its latest News on Building, Civil Works and Safety, aiming to offer visitors a different experience compared to previous participations. Alsina's stand received many visitors attracted by the group's training offer, which organised the conference “Perspectives, development, construction, Uruguay-Paraguay 2016” within the framework of the Fair, an event that included the participation of the Advisor of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, Luis Lazo, the director of Weiss-Sztryk-Weiss, Néstor Sztryk and Miguel Pato, Consultant in Territorial and Real Estate Development and former regional director of Ernst & Young, and in which each of the participants presented their point of view about the current situation and future prospects of the construction, generally admitting the presence of an adverse scenario but with a certain optimism regarding a prompt recovery and the participation of the State to reverse the situation.

On the other hand, Alsina Peru participated in the 20th edition of the EXCON fair, a meeting point of national and international scope, where the innovations and trends The most important fair in the sector. The fair, organized by the Peruvian Chamber of Construction – CAPECO, and with the institutional support of PromPerú, the College of Architects of Peru, and the Inter-American Federation of Construction – FIIC, was held from October 13 to 17 at the Jockey Club Exhibition Center – Monterrico Racetrack. Alsina Formwork of Peru showcased all its latest formwork and civil engineering equipment at its stand located in Stand A45 – Machinery Area of the fair, where visitors were assisted by the Technical-Sales team, who provided information on the Formwork systems and engineering solutions that the company offers in Peru.
Within the framework of the fair, Alsina Peru offered a technical conference on thinning, “ALSINA: Recoverable formwork to maximize performance on site”, led by Rafael Lazaro Zamacola, Head of the Technical Department of Alsina in Peru, with a great response from the public.
The main aspects of the talk included the differences between the concepts of total and partial formwork, the structural and regulatory bases on which the process of recovery in the formwork is carried out, as well as the different experimental and theoretical models.
The conference revealed the remarkable technological contribution that Encofrados Alsina has made in recent years in the world, obtaining important international recognition and which has had the collaboration of renowned institutions of the construction sector in Europe, because although the practice of “clearing” or “recovery” has been carried out in an artisanal way by some builders, Alsina has had properly recoverable formwork systems for more than 30 years, whose technology seeks to industrialize the construction processes both for the formwork of hanging beams and slabs of any type.
Finally, Moldajes Alsina, the Chilean subsidiary of Alsina, attended the International Construction Fair in Santiago de Chile, an event organized by Edifica, Expohormigón and CONEXPO-CON/AGG, a world-renowned construction equipment fair in the sector with more than 100 years of experience. The Fair, which took place from October 21 to 24, 2015 in the city of Santiago de Chile, was attended by prestigious international experts, as well as the presentation of new Innovative equipment and technologies. Moldajes Alsina could not miss this event with its 230 square meter stand in the Stand Area, number 404-EHAD, where it presented its engineering and formwork systems for construction and civil works, and also offered the presentation of a revolutionary product for residential building formwork to the Chilean market: the modular hanging beam (Friendly beams).
The group, which has been offering its services in Chile for more than eleven years, has been growing and gaining the trust of new clients with projects as diverse and solvent as the Alto Miramar residential complexes or Parque Montemar; the equipment construction (from prisons, such as Valdivia, shopping centers or Hospitals, such as Exequiel González Cortés, Antofagasta Hospital or Laja, to office buildings such as Parque Titanium), as well as Industrial works (Mininco Sodium Chlorate Plant or the cement plant in Puente Alto), Transportation works (expansion of the Costanera Norte highway, Prince of Wales Metro Station, Marga viaduct, the Pérez Zujovick Roundabout or the La Serena-Vallenar Route) to Hydraulic works such as the La hydroelectric plant Higuera or the Copiapó Desalination Plant.
The efficiency and solvency in the works carried out during this time has been the best presentation for the Group, and currently Moldajes Alsina has consolidated itself in the Chilean market, becoming an expert competitor in rental and recoverable formwork systems, with the guarantee of its international experience, and with its own products that solve many of the needs of its clients in the Chilean market, as is the case of its Mecanoconcept formwork system.
Alsina currently has three branches in the country (Santiago, Antofagasta and Concepción), where more than 65 employees work who are part of the commercial, logistical, administrative and technical teams to offer a comprehensive and proximity service that has managed to strengthen the group during these ten years.
By attending these fairs, as it does in many others, the Alsina group continues working to strengthen and publicize its engineering and formwork solutions at an international level, supported by the good results and effectiveness of the works in which it participates.
