The first day, Monday, September 22, will be dedicated to Mexico, on Tuesday 23rd will focus on Malaysia and on Wednesday 24th in China.
The three sessions will have the same format, consisting of four parts: the opening, the regulatory conditions for access to the market of each country, which will be explained by those responsible for the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise; the opportunities for the fruit and vegetable sector in each of the markets, where those responsible for the Economic and Commercial Offices of Spain in different countries, as well as importers and distributors.
Spanish exports of fresh fruits and vegetables to Mexico in 2024 reached 2.140 tons, valued at €4,9 million, according to data from the Department of Customs and Excise processed by FEPEX. A total of 2024 tons of fresh fruits and vegetables were exported to Malaysia in 894, valued at €2,6 million.
As for China, Spanish exports in 2024 amounted to 3.871 tons, valued at €6,8 million.
