In a challenging economic context, Andalucía has managed to stand out as the only community in Spain's Top 5 exporters to record positive growth in its exports during the first eleven months of 2024. According to data provided by the Observatory for the Internationalization of the Andalusian Economy, foreign sales have reached 36.802 millones de euros, which represents an increase in 4,4 % Compared to the same period of the previous year.
This remarkable performance is mainly due to the diversification in both products and markets. As for the provincial origin of the Andalusian exports, seven of the eight provinces have increased their sales. In particular, Seville is positioned as a leader with a rise of 24,5%, contributing significantly to global growth both regionally and nationally.
Andalusia's trade balance is approaching equilibrium thanks to imports totalling 37.890 billion euros and a coverage rate higher than the national average (97,1% compared to 90,7%).
These results reinforce Andalusia's international competitive position and underline its ability to adapt to changing global economic dynamics through a diversified and innovative strategy.
