The Professional Association of Entrepreneurs of Horticultural Products, APEPH, based in Calatayud (Zaragoza), the Fruit and Vegetable Business Association of Huesca, EXCOFRUT, with headquarters in Fraga (Huesca) and the Association of Agricultural Entrepreneurs of the Right Bank of the Ebro, AEAMDE, with headquarters in La Almunia de Doña Godina (Zaragoza), have constituted the Aragon Fruit Federation, FEDEFRUTA Aragón, in order to address common problems and defend the economic and social sustainability of the fruit in this autonomous community, which is closing a campaign with disparate results depending on the species.
Fedefruta Aragón establishes as main objectives: the resolution of problems that affect the producers and marketers of stone fruit, pome fruit, nuts, vegetables, tubers, berries in said area located in the agri-food chain, the improvement in overall efficiency and its establishment as a platform for sectoral representation before any public or private body.
