Asturex launches eight Asturian companies into commercial exploration in Mexico

 

The action, organized by the Foreign Promotion Society of the Principality of Asturias (Asturex), a company of the Sekuens Group, expanded from November 23 to 28focusing on prospecting for new opportunities, strengthening relationships, and exploring agreements in various sectors. The personalized contact agenda included dozens of meetings with potential Mexican clients and partners, a fundamental task in a market of 129 million and with sustained growth.

 

The sectors represented in the mission were broad in scope, ranging from the industrial storage and occupational health and safety to eating, the technology, with and digital services.

 

Alongside the business meetings, Asturex also held a institutional agenda with key players in the Mexican economic ecosystem. The objective of this work was to present the export potential from Asturias and facilitate a better commercial fit for Asturian companies in high-demand sectors such as automotive, infrastructure, telecommunications, healthcare and tourism.

 

Mexico, a First-Rate Trading Partner for Asturias

 

The choice of Mexico as a strategic destination is no coincidence. The country has established itself as a first-rate business partner for Asturias, with exports that reached in 2024 109,5 millones de eurosThis move aligns with Asturex's strategy to strengthen its presence in markets with high potential and sustained demand for regional products and services.

 

The mission is part of the general policy of foreign promotion of the Principality, whose aim is to provide comprehensive support to Asturian companies in their internationalization process, contributing market knowledge y facilitating access to new opportunities.
