BBVA Corporate & Investment Banking has sealed a strategic alliance with Olea, a leading digital platform for financing and risk management in the international tradeThis agreement will allow BBVA to significantly expand its global supply chain finance offering, or 'supply chain finance' (SCF), providing more agile and comprehensive solutions for companies operating globally.
Collaboration with Olea expands the scope of solutions BBVA SCF, which are currently offered in Europe, United States and Latin America, on a global scale. This will allow the bank to offer its business clients flexible tools tailored to the specifics of each operation and market, thereby optimizing their supply chains in an increasingly challenging global environment.
Integrated and Tailor-Made Solutions
The alliance contemplates deep operational integration, with direct coordination between the commercial teams of BBVA and Olea. This joint model will focus on the main commercial brokers and will utilize real-time data for more accurate risk assessment. This analytical and execution capability addresses companies' need for agility, multi-currency coverage, and easy-to-implement financing models, without sacrificing the necessary sophistication and control.
