Barcelona New Economy Week: Six years promoting multi-sector connectivity and digital innovation

 

The Barcelona Free Zone Consortium (CZFB) , organizer of BNEW , confirms the consolidation of a format that combines in-person attendance with live streaming , thus guaranteeing a global reach. The seven thematic pillars that will structure this edition are: Aviation, Health, Digital Industry, Talent, Sustainability, Mobility, and Experience . These verticals will not only represent the most disruptive trends but will also foster dialogue between seemingly disparate fields.

 

The BNEW 2025 program promises to be a showcase of innovation, covering everything from 3D-printed medicines and robotic surgery in the healthcare sector to the energy sustainability of data centers and the bioeconomy in the digital industry. Other key topics will include cyber resilience , the challenges of the deepfake era , the concept of smart cities , smart mobility , the role of women in space , eco-flights , talent management for Generation Z , and the development of soft skills in the digital age.

Pere Navarro , the State's special delegate to the CZFB, emphasizes the event's central philosophy: "The essence of BNEW is precisely the ability to connect different sectors, which seemingly have nothing to do with each other, such as aviation and health or mobility and talent, to learn about the trends in each vertical; but above all to create debate, establish relationships and generate synergies, with the aim of enabling entities and companies from different fields to collaborate with each other in order to contribute to the development of the new economy."

 

The event is expected to feature approximately 320 national and international speakers , who will offer over 100 hours of content across 66 panels, debates, and sessions . The hybrid format, which includes a digital networking platform , will allow attendees to exchange messages, contacts, and schedule meetings, expanding collaboration opportunities beyond physical borders.
