At FIRA in Barcelona
From June 5 to 7, more than 14.000 participants will meet in Barcelona, with the participation of 650 companies, 35% of them international, which will present 176 world-exclusive new products and hold more than 150 events.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 5, the International Logistics Exhibition (SIL) 2024, an event that will turn Barcelona in the world epicenter of the sector for three days. The opening ceremony, which will take place at 10 a.m. in pavilion 8 of Fira de Barcelona, will be attended by the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, along with other authorities such as the mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, the Minister of Territory of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Esther Capella, and the special delegate of the State in the Barcelona Free Zone Consortium (CZFB), Pere Navarro.
A sector in transformation
SIL 2024 will bring together more than 14.000 logistics professionals from around the world, and will feature participation of 650 companies, of which 35% are international. These companies will present 176 world-exclusive new products and will hold more than 150 events during the fair. It is estimated that the economic impact of SIL in the city and its metropolitan area will exceed 50 million euros.
Pere NavarroThe State's Special Delegate to the CZFB and President of SIL, highlighted that "this year, participating companies will present a total of 176 innovations for the world premiere, the highest number ever, demonstrating the importance of SIL as the leading international trade fair for the sector." Navarro added that "the logistics sector is currently undergoing a transformation, with the implementation of technological advancements that have contributed to greater efficiency and traceability, increasingly focusing on sustainability and digitalization, which will create new job opportunities for next-generation professionals."
The SIL has become one of the great world reference fairs for the Logistics, Transport, Intralogistics and Supply Chain sectors, as well as the great reference in Spain, the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.
Knowledge and innovation
El SIL KnowledgeThe large SIL international congress, will once again have a prominent role in this edition, with more than 100 presentations divided into six thematic blocks: sustainability; Logistics and Transportation; supply chain; innovation, technology and digitalization; ecommerce, last mile and smart mobility; and talent. Among the 320 speakers who will participate in SIL Knowledge are logistics or Supply Chain directors from companies such as Unilever, Nestlé, Mercadona, Mahou San Miguel, Procter & Gamble, Condis, Mango, Amazon Web Services, Cepsa Química, Covestro, Revlon, Simon, Frid Ravitch, SEAT, Flamagas, Capsa Food, Almirall, Pascual, Zalando or Henkel Ibérica, among others.

MedaLogistics Week and 20th anniversary
SIL 2024 will also host the celebration of MedaLogistics Week, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary. This event will explore new business opportunities for the logistics sector in the regions of the Mediterranean, Asia and Africa. Inside MedaLogistics Week will also take place 16th edition of the MedPorts & Shipping Summit and the Third African Logistics Meeting.
