La Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations – CEOE, in collaboration with the Embassy of Colombia in Spain and ProColombia, are organizing a Business Meeting in which business opportunities will be presented under the title Strategic investment projects in northern Colombia, which will take place on September 22 at 16 p.m. at the CEOE headquarters (Calle Diego de León, 50, Madrid).
The meeting will feature the participation of the director of the cooperation area of the Sucre Governor's Office and the president of the Cartagena de Indias Chamber of Commerce. They will present high-impact initiatives in the departments of Bolívar and Sucre, which are part of the development of the coastline south of Cartagena to the Gulf of Morrosquillo.
Projects worth highlighting include:
Sucre Department – Gulf City: modernization of the regional airport, development of hotel infrastructure, construction of a marina, creation of a convention center, water treatment and energy transition projects, and complementary road and urban infrastructure.
Department of Bolívar – Cartagena de Indias: Comprehensive remodeling of the Bazurto Market, creation of an Agro-industrial Reindustrialization Center, and development of three agro-industrial projects in the department.
These initiatives seek to consolidate northern Colombia as a new tourist and industrial hub, with projects that promote investment in key sectors such as infrastructure, construction, tourism, and agribusiness, and which also represent a decisive commitment to job creation and territorial cohesion.
