CEOE meets with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Spain

In favor of promoting trade and investment relations

During the meeting, Joaquín Gay de Montellá highlighted the presence of more than 600 Spanish companies established in the Asian giant and the exponential growth that many of them have experienced.

Vice President CEOE and president of the International Relations Commission, Joaquin Gay Montellá has met with a delegation from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Spain, headed by his Ambassador, Lyu Fan. 

 

During the meeting, Joaquín Gay de Montellá highlighted the presence of more than 600 Spanish companies established in the Asian giant and the exponential growth that many of them have experienced in sectors such as textile retail, energy, food, automotive and chemicals.

 

At the same time he insisted on the importance of promoting the trade and investment relations between both countries through a greater exchange of high-level visits that promote and make known the good harmony that exists between Spain and China.

 

 

The Chinese ambassador to Spain, Lyu Fan, praised the work that CEOE is doing to promote trade relations and encourage investment exchanges between both countries.

 

 

 

In this context, the vice president of CEOE and President of the International Relations Commission mentioned the good relations that CEOE keeps with the CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade), business organization similar to the Spanish Confederation in ChinaHe also stressed the willingness of CEOE to collaborate with the Chinese embassy in order to promote commercial and business relations, in the same way it does with the CCPIT.

 

In turn, the Chinese ambassador to Spain, Lyu Fan, praised the work that CEOE to promote trade relations and encourage investment exchanges between both countries. He also highlighted the latest activities that CEOE has organized in collaboration with the Chinese embassy in Spain and with the CCPIT, on the occasion of the visit to Spain of business delegations and institutional representatives from their country.
