Canarian video game companies launch into the European market at Gamescom in Germany.

The mission, coordinated by Proexca and the Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC), sought to strengthen commercial ties, explore new trends and publicize the advantages that the Canary Islands offer as hub for the gaming industry.

For a week, the Canary Islands team presented itself under the brand "Canary Islands Games" at the stand of the ICEX - Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade, achieving key visibility for local studios. Thanks to the collaboration between Proexca and the Canary Islands Regional Video Game Association, three companies –Drakhar, Foxter and MoonMana Games– attended the fair. Their main objective was to sell their products and services, as well as to gain knowledge about the latest trends and establish synergies with other market players.

At the same time, Proexca's Invest in the Canary Islands division focused on attracting new investment to the archipelago. Through business-to-business meetings, the company promoted the tax advantages, strategic location, high connectivity, and quality of life that make the islands an ideal location for companies in the sector. This effort seeks to consolidate the Canary Islands' reputation as a growing audiovisual and technology hub.

Participation not only generated business opportunities but also laid the groundwork for future collaborations. Throughout the fair, proposals for joint initiatives with other regional governments in Spain and the German delegation of Proexca emerged. These initiatives seek to create greater synergies between companies and advance the development of specialized video game training within the Canary Islands, thus strengthening the local ecosystem.
