The Ministry of Economy, Business and Employment of the Government of Castilla-La Mancha has announced the opening of the registration and selection period for the fifth promotion of its program Internationalization Scholarships.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Economy, Business and Employment, Patricia Franco, during her attendance at the 40th anniversary of the Symaga company in Villarta de San Juan. The councilor highlighted the importance of this program for the region, which in its fourth edition has provided training and international experience to 21 young people, out of the 65 participants. foreign trade and marketing, with paid internships abroad.
Symaga: An Example of International Projection and Regional Commitment
During her speech, Patricia Franco praised Symaga's track record, calling it a national and international benchmark in the storage and silo solutions sector. The company, based in Villarta de San Juan, exports 96% of its production, bringing the "CLM Brand" to 150 countries and contributing to global food security.
“Symaga is a prime example of the Industry 4.0 we want for the region,” stated the regional minister, highlighting the company’s strong commitment to innovation throughout its four decades of existence. This growth has positioned Castilla-La Mancha as the fourth most industrialized autonomous community in Spain.
Franco also praised the recognition of Symaga by the Castilla-La Mancha Family Business Association, a company that, from its roots in Villarta de San Juan, has achieved global reach. The councilor congratulated the company's workforce of more than 150 professionals and the management team, and recalled the legacy of its founder. Alfonso Garrido.
The counselor concluded by emphasizing that this international projection is precisely what the regional government is seeking for Castilla-La Mancha, and programs such as the Internationalization Scholarships, promoted by the General Directorate of Vocational Training for Employment and Foreign Promotion Institute (IPEX), are key to achieving this.
