The fair Emerge Americas Miami 2025, held from March 26 to 28, was the setting for startups from Castilla-La Mancha to present their innovative solutions in key areas such as cybersecurity, cloud services, hospital and business management, B2B marketplaces in the agri-food sector, and new materials using 3D injection and printing.
This participation is part of the strategic collaboration between IPEX and ICEX Spain Exports and Investments, an alliance that seeks to promote the Capabilities of innovative entrepreneurs of Castilla la ManchaIn recent years, this collaboration has facilitated the presence of regional startups at renowned events such as Emerge Americas Miami and Web Summit Lisbon.
The program of activities included a key meeting on March 26, where companies from Castilla-La Mancha interacted with entrepreneurs, institutions and investment funds. MiamiThis event, organized by ICEX, featured presentations, roundtable discussions, and networking sessions, providing a valuable opportunity for the exchange of ideas and the creation of synergies. The day culminated with a cocktail reception at the residence of the Consul General of Spain in Miami, Jaime Lacadena Higuera.
During the three days of the fair, the Castilian-Manchegan delegation received the support of key figures such as Javier Yraola Burgos, Counselor of the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Miami, and José María Blasco, executive director of growth and competitiveness at ICEX.
Emerge Americas has established itself as a global meeting point for entrepreneurs, investment funds, accelerators, and public organizations. The choice of Miami as the event's venue underscores the city's appeal as a growing tech hub, driven by favorable tax incentives and a low unemployment rate.
Companies from Castilla-La Mancha also held productive meetings with Jose Felix Gonzalez, responsible for the promotion of consumer goods and services in IPEX, and Carmen Munoz, responsible for IPEX's overseas network in the United States. These meetings allowed for an assessment of future sector needs and projects in the U.S. market, laying the groundwork for future collaborations.
This initiative is aligned with IPEX's 2025 plan for the foreign promotion of consumer goods and services, which includes the participation of service companies in two trade missions in United States, scheduled for June and October.
