COFIDES ' capital injection is directed to Swift 3 , a Luxembourg-registered private equity vehicle focused on the production and distribution of renewable gases , including biomethane and green hydrogen . The fund aims to reach a size of €1.000 billion , with individual investments ranging from €20 million to €50 million.
A crucial aspect of the investment is Swift 3's commitment to allocate at least twice the amount of FOCO's contribution to Spanish companies . This guarantees a direct and significant impact on the national business sector, accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy and consolidating Spain's role in decarbonization.
The fund, which has three generations of experience and a well-established strategy, focuses on decarbonization through renewable gases and has already invested in four developers in Spain. The extensive experience of the SWEN Capital Partners management team, with over 40 investments primarily in the biomethane sector , positions it as a key player in Europe.
This operation is designed to strengthen the production of renewable gases and reinforce Spain's position in the European decarbonization strategy.
