COFIDES reaffirms its commitment to promoting the internationalization of Spanish companies by approving a co-investment loan of 200.000 euros for Green UniverseThis capital injection, from the Fund for Foreign Investment Operations of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (FONPYME) and COFIDES' own resources, will facilitate the consolidation of the subsidiary that Green Universe maintains in Mexico 2014 since.
The Mexican subsidiary of Green Universe focuses on commercial activity, carrying out tests and field trials crucial to adapt its innovative biosolutions to the particularities of the climate and regulatory requirements of the Aztec country.
This project, which will mobilize a total investment of 286.000 euros, is aligned with the global strategy of Green Universe, which prioritizes the growth in international markets –where it already operates in 14 countries– and the diversification of its client portfolio. The biotechnology company is also focusing its efforts on investment in R&D for the development of solutions that increase crop productivity and quality under strict criteria of efficiency and sustainability.
