Companies from the Bay of Algeciras strengthen commercial ties with Mexico

Trade mission

Seven Andalusian companies, five of them located in the Bay of Algeciras area, are in Mexico on a commercial mission with the aim of strengthening commercial relations and exploring new business opportunities in the Aztec country.

The initiative, promoted by the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce, has the support of Andalucía TRADE, the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras and the Provincial Council of Cádiz.

 

The agenda of the trade mission began in CDMX with a business day where participating companies had the opportunity to present their products and services to a group of Mexican businessmen from various sectors, including logistics, customs, import and export.

 

Within the framework of the mission, rounds of bilateral B2B meetings have been organized (business-to-business) between Andalusian companies and their Mexican counterparts, in order to encourage direct contact and explore potential commercial collaborations.

 

Subsequently, the delegation will travel to Veracruz to participate in new business meetings and visit the local port facilities.

 

It is expected that the trade mission will generate new business opportunities for participating companies and contribute to the diversification of their foreign markets.

The trade mission to Mexico is part of the program Global SME of the Chamber of Spain and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (SPRING) And Provincial Council of Cádiz.

 

This initiative adds to the efforts made by the participating institutions to strengthen commercial relations between Andalusia and Mexico, two regions with great potential for collaboration in various sectors.
