The DHL ATLAS Export Awards are all about recognizing a job well done, an event that highlights the work of companies that are betting on foreign trade as a way to expand their business, companies that have understood that the market is the world.


 

DHL Express, leader in services international express transport, has delivered the DHL ATLAS Awards to exporting 2015 to:

 

 

 

 

  • CerTest Grand Prize for Export for its successful track record of exporting in vitro diagnostic products with human applications to more than 16 countries. Non-instrumental diagnostics that allow the detection of diseases without the need for testing facilities or equipment. 
  • AGQ  Runner-up for the Most Innovative Export for having applied a higher degree of innovation in the management of its export project of solutions for agronomic, food, environmental and mining analysis. 
  • Extraice  Runner-up for Most Sustainable Export for the export of synthetic ice rinks, 100% recyclable and non-toxic. The company currently exports to twenty countries. 

 

 

 

 

At the handover ceremony, Secretary of State for Trade Jaime García Legaz He stated that “these are very special awards because they make the winning small businesses a benchmark of success for others. They are companies for whom the world has no barriers.” For his part, the Director-General of DHL Express, Miguel Borrás announced important investment primarily at the airports of Madrid and Vitoria to serve the growth of Spanish exports.

 

The Secretary of State highlighted that Spain has become the second largest exporting power in Europe and that in the last six years the volume has increased from 220.000 billion to 350.000 billion euros thanks to the activity of 150.000 companies that have made it possible for us to have balance of payments surplus.
