Tallink, Estonia's largest passenger shipping company, will launch a new ferry on the Tallinn-Stockholm route in the spring of 2004. To finance the construction of the new vessel in Finnish shipyards, 5,1 million shares will be issued with a par value of €5,24 each. Last year, the shipping company posted profits of €15 million on a turnover of €179 million. Tallink transported 2,7 million passengers between Sweden, Finland, and Estonia during 2003.
