Euskadi Mobility and Logistics Cluster receives top award at the 2030st Euskadi Agenda XNUMX Awards for Sustainability and Solidarity

 

The event marked a milestone in the recognition of Basque organizations that are leading the way towards a more sustainable and equitable future. Euskadi Agenda 2030 Awards, managed by Euskalit under the direction of Social Innovation and Agenda 2030 of Lehendakaritza, seek to identify and celebrate those entities that have successfully integrated the SDGs into their business management.

 

The main objective of these awards is twofold: to serve as inspiration by highlighting best practices in the implementation of the SDGs and to publicly recognize the effort and progress achieved in this area. Euskadi Mobility and Logistics Cluster has demonstrated an exceptional commitment, which has earned him recognition in the "Bidean" category.

 

Eduardo LasaThe Cluster's president accepted the award on behalf of the organization and expressed his gratitude and continued commitment: "We receive this award as an endorsement of our commitment to sustainable development, a concept intrinsic to our sector's activity. This award undoubtedly encourages us to continue moving in that direction."

 

The Cluster's new strategic plan, which will run until 2028, is closely aligned with the SDGs, reflecting the importance the organization places on sustainability in its long-term vision.

 

The "Bidean" category recognizes organizations that have demonstrated significant progress on their sustainability journey. The Cluster has conducted a rigorous self-assessment process and prioritized those organizations that have shown the most progress. ODS where it can generate a more significant impact, both at the sector and organizational level.

 

The Cluster is finalizing its Strategic Plan 2025-2028, which incorporates the SDGs into its mission, vision and values, with a special focus on sustainability and well-being. In addition, the organization is promoting projects and working groups that involve customers, partners and other stakeholders, addressing topics such as clean mobility, safety and talent.

 

The Cluster's commitment to the SDGs extends through initiatives such as strengthening security, developing excellent management, specialized training and establishing indicators to assess progress in achieving the SDGs.
