The Valencia International Furniture Fair (FIM) will open its doors on September 29, bringing together the best national and international supply and demand and with the guarantee of renewing the prestige that has positioned it as the leading event of the sector's trade fair calendar in the second half of the year.
To this end, FIM has been working since the close of the last edition with ambitious strategic plans through numerous promotional activities at both the national and international levels. Presentations in various locations across Spain, participation in the main international trade fairs in the sector, distribution of product catalogs, and the organization of reverse trade missions are the cornerstones of the activity carried out.
Having successfully completed its Domestic Promotion Plan - in whose development the confidence of the most important companies in the sector in FIM as the best platform for external projection for Spanish furniture has been confirmed - the event is currently closing its program of action in the international market.
Within the framework of this Plan, FIM has sent a product catalog to more than 18.000 foreign professionals, showcasing the quality and diversity of its current offerings. At the same time, reverse mission programs are being finalized, which will bring prominent importers and journalists from more than 30 countries to Valencia.
To this intense activity, we must add the high degree of loyalty that this event enjoys, since six months before its celebration, more than 95% of the exhibitors from the last edition had confirmed their interest in participating in FIM 2003.
In this regard, FIM Director José Manuel Ponz points out that "the excellent results of the intense promotional activity carried out constitute a guarantee for the success of FIM 2003. The most outstanding supply and demand will be present at the next edition of this event, consolidating FIM as an exceptional location for doing business."
