Four Zaragoza companies honored for their export success at the Chamber of Commerce Awards

 

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Zaragoza has announced the four companies that will be distinguished with the Export Awards 2024The awards will go to HMY (Large Company category), PMF Distribution (SME), Sandwich Panel (Camera Club Award for Internationalization) and Voeral (Extraordinary Award for his International Career). The awards ceremony will take place next 5 June at the Congress Palace in the Aragonese capital.

 

The announcement was made by Maria Jesus Veron, president of the Internationalization Commission of Cámara Zaragoza, and Nieves Ágreda, Deputy Director General of the institution and Director of the International Area. Representatives of the award-winning companies, Alberto Fantova (HMY), Fernando Gracia (PMF Distribution), Oscar Lopez Blanco (Sandwich Panel) and Raúl Gascón (Voeral), also participated in the press conference.

 

The award-winning companies stood out for their vision of the future, focusing their strategy on internationalization and innovation. HMY, dedicated to the comprehensive creation of commercial spaces, has experienced exponential growth in its exports, increasing from €100.000 in 2015 to more than €25 million in 2023, currently reaching more than 70 countries outside the European Union. PMF Distribution, with a wide range of food products and its own beverage brands, expects to achieve international sales exceeding €18 million by the end of this year. Voeral, a leader in the energy sector with its wind measurement technology, has doubled its turnover in the last five years, consolidating its position as a major exporter. For its part, Sandwich Panel, specialized in the manufacture of panels for various sectors, has registered a notable increase of 22,7% in its international turnover in 2024, with significant growth in France and Portugal.

 

 

The Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce Export Awards have been running for over 40 years.

After the awards ceremony, the Chamber of Commerce of Zaragoza will celebrate the Internationalization Week of the 9 al 12 de junioThis week will include interviews and activities networking focused on various markets and internationalization strategies, such as the African market, turnkey projects, Europe as the leading export destination, and the export of engineering in the renewable energy sector. These activities will be sponsored by Cesce.

 

The Export Awards from the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce, with over 40 years of experience, recognizes the number of exports, their percentage of turnover, the volume of sales outside the EU, the increase in exports over the last two years, and investment in R&D&I, consolidating its position as the longest-standing business distinction in Aragon.
