El Galician Logistics Function Cluster will have a prominent presence at the International Logistics Show (SIL), which will be held in Barcelona from June 5 to 7.

El Friday 7 June at 11 hours, in the Randstad Ágora of the SIL, the event will take place "Galicia as an example of public-private collaboration", organized by the Galicia Logistics Function Cluster. At this meeting, the Regional Minister of Economy and Industry of the Xunta de Galicia, Maria Jesus Lorenzana, together with the presidents of the port authorities of To Coruña and Vigo, Martín Fernández Prado and Carlos Botana Lagarón, respectively, will present the logistical strengths of the region.

Galicia is positioned as the sixth most exporting autonomous community in Spain, with more than 50.000 million euros in exports in 2023. A success that is largely due to a highly developed logistics sector and an integrated logistics function in industrial companies with great coordination capacity.

Aware of the strategic role of logistics, the Xunta de Galicia has declared this sector as strategic and maintains close collaboration with companies through the Cluster.

In addition to the event on Friday the 7th, Galicia will have its own stand throughout the fair (B255) where visitors will be able to obtain detailed information about the region's logistics capabilities and the business opportunities it offers.
