These initiatives are part of the 11th Spain-India Multisector Call, within the India Spain Innovation Program (ISIP), a strategic platform to foster bilateral technological cooperation. With the deadline for submitting proposals set for May 20, the opportunities cover key sectors such as advanced industry, health technology, sustainable mobility, artificial intelligence applied to urban environments, and natural disaster management using unmanned aerial vehicles. This ambitious program seeks to catalyze joint innovation and strengthen technological ties between the two countries.
The panorama of international collaboration in research and development is becoming more dynamic with the recent announcement of the CDTI Innovation, which has launched various searches for Spanish partners to participate in innovative projects with Indian counterparts. The first of the opportunities presented comes from Vedasya Engineering, an Indian company seeking a Spanish technology partner for the joint development of an advanced system of PEEK/epoxy resinThe main objective of this collaboration is to obtain a material with a high glass transition temperature and compatibility with carbon fibers. Vedasya Engineering would provide the project with the towpreg machinery necessary for the manufacture of this innovative material, which has potential for application in sectors as diverse as the automotive industry, the space industry, and hydrogen storage.
In the field of digital health, the Indian startup InnovosensSpecializing in wearable biosensors, has expressed interest in collaborating with a Spanish company to develop a revolutionary metabolic monitoring device that uses sweat analysis. This innovative device will be able to examine crucial biomarkers such as lactate, glucose, sodium, and potassium, enabling early detection of metabolic imbalances and providing valuable information on the user's hydration status.

El Indian Institute of Petroleum (CSIR-IIP) is also joining this collaborative initiative, seeking Spanish partners to develop cutting-edge technologies in the field of electric mobility and renewable energy. The project focuses on supplying 100 kW of power for applications ranging from electric vehicles to green hydrogen production. This involves the development of advanced management and safety prototypes for hydrogen fuel cells and supercapacitors, as well as the creation of a software-controlled smart hybrid converter.
In the field of artificial intelligence and smart cities, the Indian company Uncharted Infolabs leads a project that seeks to develop an advanced IoT system for urban noise monitoring. The proposal is based on the use of low-cost sensors that allow for the continuous collection of large volumes of sound data, which will then be analyzed using artificial intelligence algorithms to obtain valuable information on noise levels and their impact on citizens' quality of life.
Finally, Crispblue Space and Communication Technology Solutions has launched a search for a Spanish company to collaborate in the development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for natural disaster monitoring and management. The main focus of this technological development will be on the early detection and monitoring of forest fires, floods, oil spills, and landslides, using Global Navigation Satellite Systems Reflectometry (GNSS-R) technology.
