Ivace+i promotes Valencian chemical exports with a mission of international guests

This initiative is part of the 14 international guest missions that Ivace+i Internacional has scheduled for the last quarter of the year, as explained by Ester Olivas , Director General of Entrepreneurship and Internationalization. "We invite importing companies with purchasing potential to learn firsthand about the offerings of our companies, thus maximizing new business opportunities," Olivas noted, emphasizing the importance of these in-person meetings, whether at trade fairs or at the headquarters of Valencian companies.

Eight Strategic Buyers at Eco Chemicals Solutions

In collaboration with the industry association Quimacova , Ivace+i Internacional has facilitated a visit from eight purchasing companies from Senegal, Brazil, India, and Ivory Coast . These companies are participating in the Eco Chemicals Solutions trade fair , organized by Quimacova at Feria Valencia , which runs until November 13.

The Indian delegation includes Krishna Valley Agrotech, Aurashine Essentials, Indichem Specialty Fertilizers, Aries Agro, and JJ Oveseas , with a primary focus on fertilizers and cosmetics. Agrobiotech, also specializing in fertilizers, is participating from Brazil . The mission is rounded out by Dioubo Sarl from Senegal and Kleenjet from Ivory Coast , the latter specializing in cleaning products.

During their stay, the importing companies will maintain a busy schedule of B2B meetings with Valencian companies in the sector. More than one hundred meetings are expected to take place with the aim of generating direct business and strategic alliances.

The Chemical Sector: Export Engine of the Valencian Community

The Valencian chemical sector—encompassing organic and inorganic products, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, and plastics—is a fundamental pillar of the region's economy. It represents 14% of the Valencian Community's total exports , making it the third largest exporting region in Spain in this field, with 8% of the sector's national exports projected for 2024.

In 2024, chemical exports reached €5.032 billion , with France, Italy, Portugal, and the United States being the main markets. Plastics stand out as the most in-demand product, accounting for 32% of the sector's total value.

The positive trend continued from January to August 2025, with exports reaching €3.426,44 million . France remains the top destination (12,5%), and together with Italy, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Morocco, the United States, and the United Kingdom , accounts for more than half (53,76%) of total exports during this period.
