Companies are key to strengthening Spain-Japan trade relations, according to Inmaculada Riera.

 

Immaculate Riera, general director of Chamber of Spain, underscored the fundamental role that businesses play in promoting trade and investment relations between Spain and Japan. Riera emphasized the "commitment, ambition, and values" shared by both nations, highlighting the need for the business sector to lead the development of these ties.

 

Riera's statements were made during his participation in the recognition ceremony of the Friends of the Spain Brand, event organized by the Renowned Brands Forum and closed by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, louis planesThe meeting took place within the framework of the Osaka World Expo.

 

In her speech, the Director General of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce highlighted the importance of the instruments developed and consolidated by the network of Chambers over the years, such as the Bilateral Committee and the Official Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Japan.

 

Riera reaffirmed that, as strategic partners and allies, Japan and Spain "must continue to champion a world of rules, respectful of the rights and freedoms of peoples, and defend multilateralism, open trade, and economic integration."
