Lamaignere has taken a significant step towards a more sustainable future with the launch of the Green Plan 2030. This plan represents a continuation of the efforts made under the Green Plan 2024, reaffirming the company as a leader in sustainable practices within the logistics sector in Spain.
Since the start of the Green Plan 2024, Lamaignere has successfully implemented ten key initiatives over more than four years. Notable achievements include planting 200 trees in three years and collecting more than 9 tons of waste on the Spanish coast. In addition, they have made progress in document digitalization and incorporated electric vehicles into their fleet. These actions were possible thanks to the joint effort of all their offices in Spain and the crucial support of entities such as Reforesta and Ecomar.
This new plan reaffirms Lamaignere's commitment to a responsible and sustainable approach to its logistics operations, marking a clear path towards a more globally conscious future.
In this sense, recently Lamaignere has carried out the planting of 50 trees in the Ebro Groves and Galachos Nature Reserve, an area of great ecological value in Aragon. The initiative, carried out during the last quarter of 2024, was carried out in collaboration with Reforesta and the local NGO Fondo Natural, and aims to restore the riparian forest on a property owned by the Government of Aragon, contributing to biodiversity and the fight against climate change.
