The construction Leighton Asia, Part of CIMIC Group of the Spanish multinational ACS, has secured a major contract in India to provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire (MEPF) services in the first phase of the residential complex The Presidential in Gurgaon. This project, awarded by the Elan Group, includes the construction of eight 32-story residential towers and a three-level common basement.
This new contract expands the original scope of the award obtained in August 2023, which included only civil and structural works. With this extension, the total value of the project will exceed 233 million Australian dollars (more than 144 million euros), consolidating the position of Leighton Asia in the region.

The scope of works includes the installation and commissioning of systems MEPF, such as parking lot ventilation, electrical systems, common area lighting and fire protection systems, positioning Leighton Asia as a benchmark in the construction of large residential projects in India.
