The Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce and Industry is actively involved in promoting foreign trade in its region. For next year, it is organizing 17 trade missions, responding to the interest shown by Aragonese business owners. The institution receives over 3.000 inquiries related to this matter.
According to the Corporate Image Audit commissioned from Pyrenalia Netcenter and Motio Consultores, the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce offers satisfactory services to its users, although there is still a pressing need to publicize the services it provides. Furthermore, the 1.619 telephone surveys and 18 scheduled personal interviews revealed that the most frequently used services are foreign trade, business documentation and information, and training.
Aragonese business owners are undoubtedly interested in expanding their knowledge of markets where their products have the greatest potential. To this end, several programs have been launched to promote the internationalization of their companies, with trade missions being particularly noteworthy. In Aragon, the Chamber of Commerce is the institution responsible for organizing these missions, and this year it has planned trips to 17 countries.
The first of these trips is to Tunisia, a mission organized in collaboration with the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce and the Spanish Trade Office in Tunis. The trip takes place from February 3rd to 7th, and all available places for participating companies have already been filled.
For the coming months, the selected destinations are Egypt, Dominican Republic-Panama, Czech Republic-Hungary, Lebanon, Chile, Peru, Russia, Morocco, Romania-Bulgaria, Belgium, South Korea, Canada and Uruguay.
Perhaps for this reason, in the audit carried out, on a scale of 1 (very bad) to 5 (very good), the foreign trade department received a score of 4,13, although a still very high percentage of business owners express their lack of awareness of the services that can be offered to them.
