Mexican companies see Fruit Attraction 2024 as a gateway to the European market

 

Ayin Decer Castelán, Country Manager of How2Go in Mexico, highlighted that the fair, which will be held in Madrid and will feature the participation of more than 2,100 companies from 140 countries, represents a key opportunity for Mexican exporters.

 

Susana Duque Roquero, from the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, stressed that "Strengthening trade ties between Mexico and Spain is crucial for accessing the European market.". For her part, María José Sánchez Moncada, Director of Fruit Attraction, highlighted that "The European market values ​​quality and health, which opens a golden window for Mexican tropical products.".

 

Ignacio Bartolomé, CEO of How2Go, stressed that Mexican companies must be prepared to adapt to trends such as sustainability and traceability if they want to succeed in Europe. "The European market is a great opportunity for expansion, but it requires strategic vision.", he said. Juan Cortina Gallardo, from the National Agricultural Council, added that it is vital for Mexico to participate in international fairs, and highlighted: "It's time to step out of our comfort zone in the American market.".

 

Cuauhtémoc Ramírez, Secretary of Agriculture of Michoacán, recalled that, although the United States remains the natural market for Mexican products, Europe is full of opportunities for high quality Mexican products.
