One of the highlights of the visit is the presentation of the First Barometer on the climate and prospects for Spanish investment in the US. This report, led by the Spain-United States Chamber of Commerce In collaboration with International Financial Analysts (Afi)highlights the confidence of Spanish businesses in this market. The United States is the main destination for Spanish investment abroad, with a cumulative stock amounting to almost €92.000 billion.
Minister Cuerpo emphasized the importance of the economic relationship between the European Union and the United States, describing it as the most important in the world in trade and economic terms. "Basically, goods and services worth 4.600 billion euros cross the Atlantic every day. This is a treasure we must protect," Cuerpo stated, underscoring the joint efforts of Spain and the EU to preserve this crucial relationship amidst ongoing tariff negotiations.
