The Minister of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Nuria Montes, has highlighted the importance of the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) for the marble and natural stone sector during his visit to marmomac, the International Marble and Design Fair held in Verona.
Marmomac is the most important international event in the sector, attracting distribution, design and construction professionals from around the world.
Montes asserted that the PGI "will benefit the image of a sector of enormous quality," emphasizing that efforts are underway to implement this measure immediately. Ester Olivas added that this space allows Valencian marble to be positioned as a comprehensive solution for international projects.
