The most notable contract, awarded to OHLA Building for 214 million euros (228 million dollars), consists of the construction of new facilities for the Miami-Dade County Correctional and Rehabilitation Center, FloridaThis project is part of a comprehensive renovation plan to improve conditions at the prison, promoting "an environment that fosters dignity, respect, and greater connection with families, the legal system, and healthcare services." The infrastructure to be developed includes a three-story intake and release center, administrative offices, a warehouse, and a parking garage for 500 vehicles.

The second contract, valued at 114 million euros (123 million dollars), corresponds to OHLA USA and is part of the second phase of expansion of the water channeling network of Alvarado, in San Diego, California. This project will improve the water supply in the city and will benefit 1,4 million inhabitants. OHLA will install 16 kilometers of new pipes to optimize the service, focusing on the areas of Mission Valley and Mission Bay.
The United States is a strategic market for OHLA, which currently manages other large infrastructure projects in several states, such as the Purple Line Light Rail in Maryland and the construction of subway stations in New York. According to the specialized publication ENR, OHLA is positioned among the top 20 contractors for transportation infrastructure and heavy construction in the country.
