The first vice president was also present at the meeting, Felix Taberna.
During the meeting, Chivite detailed the plans of the Government of Navarre to improve the air connectivity from the region. The president explained that four new routes from Pamplona/Iruña Airport will be put out to tender: two domestic routes and two international routes to European cities.
The president thanked the ambassador for his interest in the Autonomous Community and reaffirmed the intention to maintain good relations between Navarre and the United Kingdom. Currently, some 600 people of British origin reside in Navarre, underscoring the importance of this bond.
