The Spanish engineering company tendons hosted the Minister of Public Works of Panama on May 28, José Luis Andrade, in a key meeting to accelerate the design of the Fourth Bridge over the Panama Canal.
Minister Andrade, accompanied by engineers Edgar Hernández and Manuel Alvarado, met with the team of Sener Mobility, including César Quevedo, General Manager, and Ricardo Sardinha, Director of Highways, among other executives. The main objective of the day was to review the progress in the design of the bridge's accesses, with a particular focus on the acceleration of the design of the Eastern Interchange.
During the visit, a BIM (Building Information Modeling) simulator state-of-the-art technology, which allowed Panamanian representatives a detailed visualization of the bridge structure, its circulation, and the planned signage. This technological tool facilitated a deep understanding of the project and an effective exchange of ideas.
The day concluded with a tour of the facilities of tendons, where the Panamanian delegation was able to learn about the technological capabilities and multidisciplinary approach that characterize the company in the development of large infrastructures.
The collaboration between Sener and the Panamanian Ministry of Public Works underscores the commitment of both parties to advance this megaproject, which promises to significantly improve connectivity and traffic flow in the Canal region.
