Sacyr Concesiones concludes the financing process for the RSC-287 highway in Brazil

For 170 million euros

The concession has a term of 30 years and will mean an estimated income portfolio for Sacyr Concesiones of approximately 4.000 million euros.

Sacyr Concessions has completed the financing process of the RSC-287 highway (Brazil) for 170 million euros with the Brazilian development bank BNDES and has had the guarantees of ICO and Santander.

This operation guarantees the required investment of 430 million euros in this 204 km long road project, which represents a milestone in the consolidation of the activity of Sacyr Concessions in Brazil.

The concessionaire company, Santa Maria Rota (100% Sacyr Concesiones), will carry out the operation, exploitation, conservation, maintenance, improvements and expansion of the RSC-287 transportation infrastructure between Tabaí and Santa Maria, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul.

important connection

The RSC-287 is an important connection between Tabaí and Santa María that allows interconnection with the federal highways BR 471 and BR 153. The highway has a high volume of average daily traffic and is one of the busiest in the State; It will serve more than 1,18 million inhabitants of the regions along the route.

The RSC-287 highway is Sacyr's first PPP project in Brazil, which already has other infrastructure construction projects in the country.
