The Spanish Association of Automotive Suppliers (SERNAUTO) is preparing for a prominent participation, together with its associated companies, in Motortec 2025, the leading trade fair for automotive aftermarket products in Spain and the south of EuropeThe event will be held from April 23 to 26 in IFEMA Madrid.
As President of the Motortec Organizing Committee, SERNAUTO has worked closely with the trade fair team to ensure its success, actively promoting the participation of spare parts manufacturers and giving maximum visibility to this new edition. The association has also promoted the international promotion of the fair, which is expected to translate into a greater number of foreign visitors.
The automotive supplier industry in Spain, responsible for 75% of the value of vehicles, is characterized by its solidity, competitiveness and innovationThis sector designs, develops, and supplies components, systems, and technologies for both global vehicle manufacturers and the aftermarket, generating a turnover of over €6.000 billion and thousands of stable, high-quality, and increasingly skilled jobs.
Motortec 2025 will become the main showcase for discovering the latest innovations from aftermarket manufacturers, technologies that drive safer, more efficient, connected, and automated vehicles. With more than 50% of the 650 exhibitors being manufacturers, the supplier industry will have a special role to play at this edition.
SERNAUTO Highlights at Motortec 2025:
SERNAUTO will have an institutional stand (5A03, between pavilions 3 and 5) that will serve as a meeting point for authorities, companies, media outlets, and other entities. The stand will also host various events aimed at highlight the sector's contribution to the Spanish economy and society, as well as its role in improving road safety and protecting the environment.
Among the scheduled activities is the awards ceremony Motortec “Gallery of Innovation” Awards, in whose strategic reorientation and technical secretariat SERNAUTO has actively collaborated.
On April 23rd the 3rd Edition of SERNAUTO Tributes "Outstanding Contribution to the Automotive Components Sector," where prominent figures will be publicly recognized for their support of the sector.
Motortec 2025, the leading automotive aftermarket trade show in Spain and Southern Europe, will take place from April 23 to 26 at IFEMA Madrid.
In addition, SERNAUTO has invited various authorities and political representatives to visit the fair to learn firsthand about the advances and innovations of spare parts manufacturers, emphasizing the importance of rejuvenating the vehicle fleet and responsible maintenance.
Sustainability will play a central role in SERNAUTO's activities. On Friday, April 25, the "Driving Sustainability”, organized in collaboration with Hays and Repsol Foundation, where the findings of the study "ESG Talent in the Automotive Sector" and Repsol's initiatives in the energy transition will be presented. The leadership of spare parts manufacturers in sustainability and the latest developments from the sector's Sustainability Impact Portal will also be highlighted.
Finally, the SERNAUTO stand will host students to showcase the sector's potential and the professional opportunities it offers.
