These plans, focused on prospecting and access to both national and international markets, International experts, represent a total investment of 4,4 million euros.
SODERCAN has made an additional effort by increasing the allocated budget, thus allowing all applications that met the established requirements to be covered. The main objective of these grants is to promote the Internationalization of the Cantabrian business fabric, as well as the promotion of its products and services at national and international level. This is achieved by supporting actions aimed at identifying new markets and establishing contacts with potential customers, suppliers, partners, importers, distributors and other companies outside Cantabria.
The Minister of Industry, Employment, Innovation and Commerce and president of SODERCAN, Eduardo Arasti, expressed his satisfaction with the investment commitment of Cantabrian companies in their search for competitiveness through expansion into new markets. He also highlighted the confidence placed in the actions to support internationalisation promoted by the public company.
In this context, Arasti invited the regional business community to participate in the presentation of the I Cantabria Internationalization Plan 2025-2028, an initiative promoted by SODERCAN in collaboration with various regional entities. This event will take place on February 11 at the Bisalia Building of the Scientific and Technological Park (PCTCAN). During the event, the 2025 grants from the New Markets Area of SODERCAN and ICEX will be announced.
Additionally, Arasti announced the opening, this month, of the call for support for commercial promotion plans corresponding to 2025, which will maintain the same terms as the previous year, with a maximum intensity of up to 70% of the total eligible budget and a limit of 50.000 euros per company.
