The Spanish presence at the fair underscores the sector's leadership in crucial European Union programs, such as Galileo, Copernicus, Space Surveillance (SST) y Government Satellite Communications (Govsatcom)Furthermore, the recent successful launch of the satellite SPAINSAT NG II —the country's most ambitious satellite project— positions Spain at the forefront of Europe.
The space industry is the sector that invests the most in R&D in Spain as a percentage of its sales. In 2024, the sector's annual revenue reached... 1.293 millones de euros, an increase of 10 % compared to the previous year, with a reinvestment in R&D&I of around 16 %Spanish companies cover the entire value chain, including large companies such as GMV, SENER, INDRA or AIRBUS, in addition to SMEs and startups innovative.
