The Minister of Science and Innovation of Spain, Diana morant, and the Minister of Science and Technology of China, Wang Zhigang, have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen collaboration between both countries in research, technology and innovation and promote projects in renewable energies and green hydrogen.
Among the priority areas of bilateral collaboration are sustainable cities, smart production and manufacturing technologies, biomedicine and health technologies, clean and environmental technologies, renewable energies and water management and treatment, Sustainable agriculture and advanced materials without environmental impact.
The agreement is aimed at promoting joint projects between companies, universities and research centers of both countries and promoting the exchange of personnel and the organization of seminars, among others.
Collaboration between Spain and China
Spain and China began their collaboration in the science, technology and innovation sector in 1985 and, to date, four joint calls have been launched to promote technological development and innovation projects through the program. CHINEKA.
