Ávoris Business Corporation and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) inaugurate the Madrid-Bangkok air route.

After almost a decade without direct flights between Spain and Thailand, Ávoris Business Corporation, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), has announced the inauguration of a new exclusive air route that will connect Madrid and Bangkok.
Iberojet, an airline belonging to Ávoris, will operate direct flights that will begin on May 30. This new route promises significantly improve accessibility and comfort for Spanish travelers who wish to explore the wonders of Thailand.

Inaugural flight: The ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the inaugural flight took place at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport, with the participation of prominent personalities from both nations.

Reception in Bangkok: Upon the arrival of the flight to Bangkok, the Thai authorities, led by the Mr. Sermsak Pongpanit, Minister of Tourism and Sports, the Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor and the Hon. Mr. Felipe de la Morena Casado, Ambassador of Spain in Thailand, gave a warm welcome to the passengers.
The arrival of this flight coincides with the recent visa exemption implemented by the Thai government, which extends the length of stay for Spanish passport holders to 60 days, compared to the previous 30 days.
Minister Sermsak Pongpanit said: "I am delighted to welcome Iberojet's direct service, which will facilitate a convenient connection between Spain and Thailand. This new visa measure is the latest development in the Thai government's 'ease of travel' policy, aimed at stimulating the economy through travel and tourism."
