Spanish footwear arrives in Japan to present the spring-summer 2018 collections for the first time

[Img # 22639]La Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries (FICE) organizes from July 12 to 14 the 28th edition of the Spanish footwear commercial exhibition Shoes from Spain Exhibition.

 

The exhibitors will present for the first time the japanese market the spring-summer 2018 collections at the venue EBiS303 from District Shibuya, the nerve center of the city where the headquarters and offices of many fashion companies are concentrated in Tokyo.

 

Shoes from Spain Exhibition It is the main platform for brands of spanish footwear present the new collections to Japanese customers. The exhibition is held twice a year and is aimed exclusively at the professional public. The last summer 2016 edition had 30 exhibitors (44 brands) and more than 800 visitors.

 

39% of the visitors are importers/distributors, a very relevant figure for the export of footwear to this market; 28%, clothing boutiques; 14%, footwear retailers (shoe stores and chains); and 4%, department stores.

The next edition of Shoes from Spain Exhibition will take place from July 12 to 14 and will be supported by ICEX Spain Export and Investments and Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Tokyo.

 

“Traditionally, Spanish footwear is identified with the spring-summer collections, so exhibitions in July usually have a special influx of exhibitors and visitors,” he says. Martínez. “The objective of this action is to work in advance with Japanese clients. “Many of the operations that begin at the exhibition conclude at the main European events.”
