The main destination markets for Spanish fruits and vegetables in the EU are Germany, France and the Netherlands. Germany It has consolidated itself as the main market, with sales worth 3.923 million euros, 11% more than in the same period of 2022. France has registered a growth of 2%, up to 2.237 million euros, and Netherlands has grown by 6%, to 1.063 million euros.
The fact that the main destination markets, such as Germany, France and the Netherlands, continue to show sustained growth, indicates that the quality and competitiveness of Spanish products are being well valued by European consumers.
After these three countries, Italy and Portugal have also experienced positive growth, with 5% in the case of Italy, totaling 728 million euros, and 32% in the case of Portugal, standing at 617 million euros.
Outside the EU, the value of Spanish sales of fruits and vegetables has grown by 2%, to 2.477 million euros. United Kingdom It is the main destination, with sales worth 1.619 million euros, 3% less than in 2022.
