Spanish ice is warming up for the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Games.

 

The Royal Spanish Federation of Ice Sports (RFEDH) has started the 2025-26 season with its sights set on the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics.

 

With several spots already secured and more still to be won, the goal is to surpass the five-athlete representation achieved on several occasions, including at the 2014, 2018, and 2022 Games. The season is shaping up to be a decisive step for Spanish athletes in figure skating, speed skating, skeleton, bobsleigh, and curling to earn their place among the world's elite.

 

Figure Skating: guaranteed spots and a new opportunity

 

Spanish figure skating already has two places secured for the Games, as a result of its great performance at the 2025 Boston World Championships. The dance couple formed by Olivia Smart and Tim Dieck She finished sixth, ensuring Spain's presence in the discipline for the fourth consecutive Games.
