La Almeria Chamber of Commerce has facilitated the participation of several SMEs in the habitat and natural stone sector in the fair MARMO+MAC 2024, celebrated in Verona, Italy, from September 24 to 27. This initiative is part of the program GLOBAL SME, co-financed by European funds, which aims to promote Internationalization of Almeria companiesThe Chamber finances up to 85% of the expenses derived from attending the fair, with a maximum of 1.441,60 euros per company.
The president of the House, Jerome Parra, visited the exhibiting companies from Almería such as Luis Sanchez Marbles, CuellarStone and Gutierrez Mena Marbles, all belonging to the Andalusian Marble Business Association (EEA). During their visit, the companies highlighted the importance of being present at this international reference event, although they expressed their concern about the lack of financial support from the Andalusian Administration. “Without taking into account the incentives that other Spanish autonomous communities offer to their companies, which generates a feeling of inequality and concern for Andalusian businessmen in the sector,” said the business representatives.
This action promoted by the Chamber allows SMEs from Almería to position themselves in the international market, showcasing their products and establishing business contacts at the most important event in the world for the natural stone and architectural design industry.
