The Andalusian company Torsa is developing three wind farms in Chile with more than one hundred megawatts

The Andalusian company torso, through its subsidiary Torsa Chile, is currently developing three wind farms in the sixth region of Chile, with a total power of 102 megawatts that, once in operation, will contribute more than 250 gigawatts per hour per year to the central interconnected system.

 

Specifically, torso is executing the projects of the Cardonal wind farm, of 30 megawatts, of the Manantiales wind farm, of 24,15 megawatts, and of the wind farm The Cerrillos, which has 48,30 megawatts of installed energy power.   

 

 

 

Torsa products and solutions are present, in addition to Spain, in Canada, Mexico, Chile and Peru, through local distributors

 

 

 

After more than six years since the beginning of measurements of the wind resources en Chile and once the different projects have been developed, torso It already has the favorable environmental qualification resolution for both the Cardonal wind farm and the Springs, while the processing of the Los Cerrillos park is in an advanced state of management, so the company plans to begin construction of the three projects in the first half of next year 2018.
