A comprehensive plan for Andalusian internationalization
This line of aid is part of a broader plan by the Andalusian Regional Government to promote market diversification. The Andalusian government seeks not only to consolidate its position in the United States but also to expand into alternative, high-growth markets. Some of the key actions of this plan include:
-
Trade missions to markets such as India and China.
-
Participation in strategic fairs such as Summer Fancy Food from New York.
-
Reinforcement of the service of Business Intelligence to identify opportunities in new markets.
-
Reinforced coordination and collaboration with ICEX Spain Export and Investments.
With a total budget of €63,45 million for the period 2021-2027, the Andalusian Regional Government, through Andalucía TRADE, seeks to increase the number of exporting companies, improve their international positioning, and boost Andalusian investment abroad.
The commitment to foreign trade is reflected in the data for the first half of 2025: Andalusia reached 21.337 million euros in exports, maintaining a trade surplus of €1.194 billion. These results confirm the region's position as Spain's third-largest exporter, accounting for 10,8% of the national total.
